To improve the lives of people using our services by providing direct support services to individuals or groups of individuals,this includes being a point of contact with referring agents and partnership agencies to ensure effective liaison arrangements with respect to individual support are continued and enhanced.

To ensure that residents' tenancies/licences are adhered to and that the housing provided is of optimum quality.

Main Responsibilities:

As the registered manager you will ensure and exceed compliance requirements of the Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations and its Outcomes.

To assist in the business development of ROC Solid

Adhere to, uphold and exemplify the organisations core values

To monitor the work of the Specialist Support Workers and feedback any issues to the HR Manager and CEO, if necessary

To provide supervision sessions for the Support Workers as necessary on a regular basis and feedback any issues to the HR Manager and CEO as necessary

To check/organise staff timesheets/content

To undertake annual appraisals and identify any training needs

To take responsibility for the production of the staff rota on a weekly basis

Assist in ensuring that all staff are familiar, understand and adhere to all relevant statutory policy and procedural guidelines and Ofsted regulations for Supported Living Accommodation

Liaise with all relevant agencies and attend meetings as required

Ensure all administrative records are maintained, complete monitoring returns and recording accurately and on time

Liaise with outside agencies and stakeholders to promote best outcomes for residents

Admit new residents and compile and complete all relevant admission documents and support plans

Compile and complete all relevant discharge documents

Provide support and guidance to residents

Encourage resident participation in the running of the service

Ensure licence agreements and house rules are adhered to and maintain harmony within the Charity's various locations and its neighbours within the community

Assist in ensuring that repairs and maintenance requiring attention is dealt with via the reporting procedure (through ROC Housing Management)

To ensure that a high-quality housing and support service is provided and residents are effectively helped to develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.

Work with Residents offering supported opportunities for them to improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make decisions about their future

Attend all supervision sessions with the manager and discuss all aspects of the service users and scheme issues

Maintain and update all administrative records relating to the Unit e.g. log book, complaints, incident book etc, including service user's files

Maintain formal records, for instance the fire log book and undertake fire safety drills

Produce monitoring and performance information as required by the manager to assist in the completion of monitoring returns e.g. Service performance monitoring and internal monitoring records, taking responsibility for these, where required

Assist in the collation of service user's satisfaction information

Report all repairs observed immediately and follow up to ensure they are completed; ensuring all employees follow the Group procedure

Ensure the Unit is kept clean and safe and also ensure service users undertake their responsibilities to keep the Unit clean and safe

Ensure accurate inventories of equipment and furnishings are kept and maintained for all Transitions Homes

Ensure ROC Transitions' requirements in respect of the Data Protection Act are complied with

Arrange/participate in staff/service user meetings, as and when required

Promote multi agency working

Actively market the service and promote a positive personal/professional profile within the local community, ensuring the good reputation of the service at all times

Endeavour to fill any service user vacancy and expand the service user base by liaising with surrounding social services and assessing/selecting suitable service users

Liaising with the HR Manager, ensuring employees complete allocated training, assessed through the Personal Development Plans, on a mandatory and assessment of needs basis

Complete allocated training, assessed on individual Development Plan, within timescales

A minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children) or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
