Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

We are a family owned and run dealership with Vauxhall Approved Repairer status, and due to continuing business growth, we are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our team, based in Mold. We have built our reputation on delivering the highest levels of customer service and would expect a new team member to be part of our push for excellence. Our technicians repair, service and maintain all makes of cars to a high standard of workmanship and therefore achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. You will need to be confident, proactive and ambitious with a professional approach and you will be expected to take part in Vauxhall training to grow your knowledge, both in-house and occasionally in Vauxhall Technical Centres.,

• Carry out MOTs, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.


• Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to repair faults on them. Be aware and keep up to date with technical changes and specifications


• Use any and all relevant computer systems


• Complete all paperwork to a high professional standard


• Maintain a high degree of personal standards and conduct


• Show respect for and co-operate with all members of the team to achieve business goals and objectives


• Maintain working area in a safe, clean and tidy condition at all times
  
  Our preferred candidate will be an experienced technician, ideally with at least 2 years recent experience working in a franchised main dealer environment, although we will consider applicants with other relevant experience. Ability to perform MOT tests is preferred., Has worked within an automotive technical role


• Qualified to Level 3 in vehicle service & repair


• MOT License advantageous


• Willing to attend manufacture training courses


• Competent in ICT, Maths & English
  
  The working hours are 08:30-17:30 Mon-Fri and 08:30-12.30 on Saturdays on a rota.
