Full Job Description

  • Within an exciting, dynamic, and fast passed Operations Department, the Digital Lead will lead our Digital & Data specialism to enhance, grow, and maintain our Digital Portfolio.


  • Covering all aspects of Product, Pricing and Data Analytics, working closely with senior leaders, underwriting class owners and the Data Analytics team.
  • Continual development and enhancement of you Digital Portfolio. Leading the identification and understanding of trends within the Digital Portfolio, Providing data and insights into potential threats, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Identify and implement solutions and make recommendations to mitigate or maximize the areas identified., Lead the development of new capabilities and drive continual improvement to support the efficacy of our digital and data framework, supporting improvements in operational and underwriting performance, including new and existing product.

  • Lead our product and pricing analysis programme, actively seeking out and implementing enhancements.

  • Work closely with the business in all respects of product, pricing, and data analytics from design to implementation. Leading our digital and data change programme including scoping, specification and taking ownership of delivery.

  • Provide solutions to improve efficiencies identified within digital and data portfolio.

  • Work with the business to identify, manage and resolve defects and deficiencies in the digital portfolio, supporting the business in achieving the required level of operational effectiveness.

  • In conjunction with our internal application support and data analytics teams, monitor, measure and report the effectiveness of the digital Portfolio.

  • Ensuring enhancement and defects are resolved within the required time SLA's.

  • Become a focal point and subject matter expert for our digital and data portfolio.

  • Ensuring business objectives, quality standards and regulatory standards are maintained.

  • Manage a team of motivated digital analysts. Assemble and lead a project team from the wider business as required.

  • Analysis, presentation, and communication of digital & data KRIs / KPIs. Along with the performance of the digital portfolio relating to change, product, system, user, and customer behaviours.

    Strong understanding of e-trade insurance products, systems, and processes.

  • Strong understanding of underwriting practices.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable interpreting data and trend analysis.

  • Strong MS Excel knowledge and experience.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scenarios clearly too all levels of understanding.

  • Good general knowledge statistical tools such as PowerBI, Qlick, R etc

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective, long-term relationships.

  • Thorough organisational skills with effective prioritisation of workloads.
