Full Job Description
- Working within the Agricultural team alongside Farm Combined Underwriters to underwrite UK based Agricultural risks
- Liaise with brokers and colleagues to increase profitable relationships both virtually and in person.
- Issue insurance policies by calculating premium rates as well as negotiating insurance terms and conditions with regional brokers, Manage and maintain relationships with regional brokers, colleagues and clients across the UK.
- Identify opportunities to offer solutions to existing client / broker (in the UK) accounts by evaluating applicant situation and circumstances and determining insurance risk.
- Work within your delegated underwriting authority to underwrite both new and existing business.
- Communicate effectively with senior members of staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships across the business.
- Put our clients and customers first by working within SLAs and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times
Insurance experience from an underwriting or broking background. Farm combined preferred but not essential. - Experience using digital trading platforms
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Desire to further or start a career in agricultural insurance
- Strong Commercial Insurance experience. Agricultural Insurance (Farm Combined) preferred but not essential.
- Self-starter and organisation skills to manage your own workload
- Binding / Delegated authority experience
