Full Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Marketing Channel Manager to provide suppliers of RS Group with an unrivalled mix of marketing channels that leverages data to reach large, targeted audiences on the right channels and at the right time throughout their buying journey. Build customer relationships, maintain customer satisfaction, and encourage brand loyalty to move customers along the sales cycle providing a consistent flow of traffic, conversions, and sales of supplier products.

The Supplier Marketing team works in partnership with RS Groups' suppliers providing data driven marketing solutions that offer value, attributed revenue growth and access to a large, targeted audience.

This is an exciting new role that reports to the Senior Supplier Marketing Manager and has three Campaign Manager direct reports.

What you will do...

  • Define and own the multi-channel marketing strategy for Supplier Marketing by evaluating and improving the existing strategy and developing new.

  • Stay up to date with latest in digital trends and use customer and performance data to refine and optimise the channel mix as the digital marketing landscape evolves.

  • Target specific channels to promote supplier products and services, including but not limited to Pay-Per-Click, social media, affiliate, email, and onsite merchandising.

  • Establish and develop a diverse portfolio of partner relationships and manage all contract negotiations.

  • Adapt and optimise marketing channels across EMEA to respond to customers quickly and in real time, with a localised experience.

  • Define and optimise ad spend budget per channel.

  • Ensure co-branding adheres to brand guidelines and is maintained across all channels to build brand consistency, recognition, and credibility.

  • Deploy the right type of content on the right channels and repurpose where possible to maximise reach and performance.

  • Create KPIs for each channel and provide ongoing channel performance and benchmarking data.

  • Manage channel capacity and schedule Campaign Management resource to ensure supplier campaigns are delivered in line with agreements.

  • Raise POs to cover all 3rd party channel vendor invoices and ensure payment of these invoices in accordance with contractual terms., At RS, as well as the usual employee benefits you'd expect from a FTSE listed company, we've just introduced several new Family Friendly Policies including:

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B channel marketing.

  • Strong commercial acumen, highly results driven and willingness to learn and develop.

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of working across a variety of channels and developing channel marketing strategies.

  • A good understanding of RS Groups target audience and the digital marketing channels with which they engage.

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Ability to use real time data to adapt quickly to change.

  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship management and collaboration capabilities.

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.

  • Budget management experience
