Full Job Description
The candidate (s) will be responsible for planning and delivery of a number of sessions which fall in line with the coaching philosophy, vision and values of the company. Although predominantly football, this also includes, multi sports.,
- After school clubs, including multi sports, must be available afternoons
- Potential PE / PPA cover
- Potential lunchtime sessions
- Optional evening work
- Further sessions will be available to cover due to our work with school events, local sports clubs and partner companies., Planning, delivery and evaluating sessions
- Responsible for offering engaging inclusive sessions
- To evaluate pupils and sessions and report to up line as and when necessary
- To be fully responsible for the safety and welfare of all participants under your care
- Child Development and Progression - every child matters approach
- To liaise on a regular basis with the Head of Football Development to ensure that the needs of all participants are catered for.
- Safeguarding
- Understand the company Safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice guidelines. Use this understanding to ensure safer recruitment, safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
- Other responsibilities
- To attend staff meetings and CPD as required.
- To be aware of current trends and best practice in a school environment
- To continually look for ways to develop and improve our coaching programme.
- Minimum FA level 1 or above football coaching qualification
- First aid and safeguarding certification
- Must be prepared to cover work at different venues
- Current DBS
- Other qualifications in sports would be desirable
- Knowledge of in school delivery and best practice for KS1 and KS2
- Full, clean driving license essential
