Sports Coach

Sporty Scholars is looking for enthusiastic sport coaches that have a passion working with children, and teaching sport. We are looking for part time coaches to Coach at After School
Clubs, Nurseries, Schools and Programmes. The right individual will want to inspire children to be active, and have FUN while being in a safe environment.

We teach children from the age of 3-12 in our after school clubs, and option for hours in the school holidays for our Sport Holiday Camps.

We have a wide variety of clubs on offer such as: Tennis, Cricket, Football, Nerf, Archery, and Dodgeball. If you don't have specific experience on one of these clubs training can be included.

Main job responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the sessions


• Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly


• Carry out different admin tasks - registers and feedback reports


• Create fun and safe environment for all the children


• Building a positive relationship with parents and schools


• Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake risk assessments
  
  Sports Degree or Qualification is must


• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and professionals both verbally and written


• Enhanced DBS


• Should be over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK


• Valid Full UK Driving Licence is must


• Experience and enthusiasm in working with young children aged 3-12, Coaching experience (2 years +)


• Passion working with children and grass roots sports


• Great Time Management, Sports coaching: 2 years (required)

The role is subjected to an enhanced DBS check.
