Full Job Description

Calling all learning and development specialists, consultants and trainers. We are looking to recruit to a pivotal role in our team with a good understanding for providing digital learning interventions. Although this post is initially to cover maternity leave, there is a possibility the role may become longer term.

As a Learning and Development specialist trainer you will identify, design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and continuously review a wide range of high-quality learning and development activities and materials including new digital learning interventions. For this role these learning interventions will primarily consist of supporting the Children's & Adult Social Care Services Liquid Logic system, but you will also support the rest of the Learning and Development team to provide the organisation with new learning. This is a great opportunity to become part of a new and exciting journey of change as we move towards the future of been a strong learning organisation in the digital age.

Your learning interventions will be both proactive and responsive to the ever-changing customer needs and latest technological advancements. They will support the Councils values and competency framework and will meet the Council's current and future objectives, statutory requirements, and inspection frameworks. The postholder will pro-actively work with services in order to build workforce skills in line with the Council's needs, this will require continual alignment to shifting organisational/operational demands and the ability to be highly agile.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of digital trends and learning technologies, used Liquid Logic systems and is an experienced learning professional.
