Specialist Optometrist

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is inviting applications from highly skilled and motivated optometrists to join our growing team.
The role includes undertaking a range of specialist extended optometry services which may include; Glaucoma, Cataract, Medical retina, Eye Casualty or Paediatric Ophthalmology. This will be dependent on the needs of service and the skillset of the successful applicant.
The role may also include; advanced contact lens fitting, specialist and paediatric refraction and low vision assessments., + To work closely with the line manager in order to deliver a comprehensive range of core optometric services to the highest standards of quality and care.
+ Participate in the delivery of certain highly complex specialist optometric services that meet the changing needs of the Directorate and other outside agencies.
+ To undertake administrative duties.
+ To undertake clinical audit.
+ he post holder is expected to work without direct supervision.
