Full Job Description

  • Creating community plans and engaging with communities around Coatsink games, cultivating and growing an avid fan base across new & established titles.

  • Managing our main studio accounts to bring a voice to them, engage with our community and share more about who we are.

  • Contribute to Go To Market plans and lead the planning and execution of social media and community campaigns and strategies.

  • Conceptualizing and generating strategies and content for social media and community growth and engagement and managing assigned budgets for those.

  • Write copy, proofread and produce original social and blog content.

  • Crafting effective and empathetic customer messaging across FAQ's, Reviews, Complaints and elsewhere where required

  • Provide player sentiment feedback for use by wider teams to improve end products

  • Tracking, reporting, and evaluating of social media analytics

  • Manage player community relations, including relationships with influential players and fan sites

  • Analysing, evaluating, escalating and responding to player support tickets

    This is not a Junior role, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, Experience managing social media brand accounts and output with X, Tiktok and Instagram.

  • Strong written English, copywriting and proofreading skills

  • Strong time management skills and proactive approach to generating a structured content calendar.

  • Enthusiastic about gaming and its communities


  • Preferred experience, skills and knowledge
  • Experience with Social Media Management Tools.

  • Experience of running and being highly active within Discord communities.

  • Experience with live streaming.

  • Experience with Reddit community management and engagement e.g., AMA's

  • Experience using Adobe Suite or similar to repurpose and reuse content.

  • Games Industry experience is a plus.

    The overall aim and purpose of the role is to retain the community Coatsink has formed over the years, as well as grow new audiences, undiscovered communities and ambassadors. That includes our legacy titles, future titles and also the voice of our studio accounts. You will be responsible for the day-to-day social media scheduling, fan engagement, community management and reporting of our social media landscape across the titles assigned to you. You'll work with internal and external teams to plan, schedule and execute creative social media and community campaigns. You'll also have strong analytical skills with social media metrics, able to measure the impact of social campaigns and ensure we continually improve at what we do.
