Full Job Description

The Service Manager will lead a team of town-based Dementia Navigators and Advisers, working closely with the Operations and Service Development Executive on developing the service and sustaining strong strategic partnerships with statutory and community organisations throughout Sandwell, working closely with Third Sector and Community Groups.

We are looking for an experienced manager with the ability to develop effective team working and have proven leadership and service delivery skills along with a passion for supporting people living with dementia and memory loss.

The Sandwell Community Dementia Support Service (SCDSS) is commissioned by Sandwell Metropolitan Council and the Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group. As lead provider, we are working alongside seven other local organisations; Agewell CIC, Dementia Pathfinders CIC, West Bromwich African Caribbean Resource Centre, St Albans Community Association, BUDS, Age UK Sandwell and Alzheimers Society to provide this service across Sandwell Metropolitan Borough., We are a charity that exists to transform lives through delivering impactful services across Sandwell and the surrounding areas. We work collaboratively with public, private and voluntary organisations, educational settings and other partners to design and deliver sustainable innovative solutions to improve the lives of children, families, young people and adults from early years to end of life care.
