Have you had experience in childcare?
We are looking for a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, who will work as part of a team providing 24 hour care within the Children's Residential Services for Looked After Children. You will be working in a busy Children's Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
Hours of work are evening and day shifts as part of a flexible working rota and sleep in duties. You will be expected to train and supervise staff under the direction of the manager and be able to manage the building in the manager's absence, We recognise that our people drive our success and enable the organisation to deliver on its vision, purpose and priorities, and that our people are our most important resource and asset. You must be committed to a comprehensive Induction and Training Programme and will be expected to be qualified in NVQ 3 Level in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent award.
