Full Job Description

Holywell Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant Key Adult SEN Support to work on a fixed-term contract until August 2026. This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, starting at 8.45 am and ending at 2.15 pm. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and supportive staff team, working in a well-resourced school environment with happy and polite children.

We are looking for an individual with a nurturing and caring approach, who is passionate about children's development. The ideal candidate should have the patience and understanding to work with children with special needs, specifically supporting a child in Year 5.

Key responsibilities include working proactively and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating resilience and ability to cope with the daily challenges of working with vulnerable children. The candidate should have an understanding of the social and emotional needs of children, work independently, and use initiative. Additionally, the candidate should be confident, professional, and committed to training and professional development. They will also contribute to tracking children's progress.
