School Science Technician

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of practical lessons within the department, by

• Preparing materials and equipment for science lessons.


• Maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and their equipment and services in good order.


• General duties in support of the teachers in the Science Department.


• Ordering and monitoring stocks of science materials, chemicals and equipment.
  
  The Governors at Mountain Ash Comprehensive School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Technician to support the activities of the Science Department. This post will be for 35 hours per week Term Time Only to start as soon as possible. The post is a Grade 5 Permanent post. Salary - £24702 (pro rata 83.09% = £20,525 Actual Salary)
