Roofer / Semi Skilled Flat Roofer / Labourer

We are a Mansfield based flat roofing company looking to recruit a hard working and reliable individual to join our small friendly team, installing Torch on Felt, GRP, Single Ply and Liquid Applied Flat Roofing Systems within the East Midlands.

Proven experience would be advantageous and a current CSCS Card is required (or will need to be obtained).

Candidate will be required to use a tape measure accurately and be able to carry out basic calculations. Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions, including Risk Assessments and Method of Works Statements. We are looking for someone competent and confident in using power tools and hand tools.

A full clean driving license would be advantageous, but not essential, however, must be able to get themselves to Rainworth for 7.30am Monday to Friday.

An enhanced DBS check will be need to be undertaken (paid for by employer) due to the nature of some sites.

We are particularly keen to speak to people who have some roofing experience, who are prepared to work hard to learn the skills required to become a competent flat roofer. We are prepared to offer training to the right candidate and we are happy to accept applicants who have previous construction experience in a different trade.,

  From £11.50 an hour - Full-time, The position is offered on a permanent contract based upon a satisfactory standard of workmanship and/or learning being demonstrated, and an initial trial period.


The nature of the work requires candidates to be physically fit as it involves manual handling and working at height.

Salary is dependent upon age and experience.

We offer a wet time payment scheme, company pension scheme, uniform and bonus scheme. We pay travelling time to and from site from our base in Rainworth.
