Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Learning Disabilities home. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to our team of caregivers, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents. If you have a passion for quality care and possess strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply., Manage day-to-day operations of the residential facility, including quality assurance processes, resident care and administrative tasks.
- Supervise and provide guidance to care staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality care to residents.
- Develop and implement care plans for each resident, considering their individual needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and adherence to treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, addressing any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the care home, promoting social engagement and emotional well-being among residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and provide necessary support or referrals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards for residential care.

Previous experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of senior care practices, including medication administration, care planning, and CQC regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff members and stake holders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of Service Users.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation purposes.

Candidates should hold at least a NVQ level 4 (RMA) and be willing to complete an QCF level 5.
