Full Job Description

A Regulatory Officer vacancy has arisen in our fast-growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Quality team., To take responsibility for product related regulatory activities across the business, including the guidance, interpretation, and
application of regulations, liaising with external bodies, Export and Research & Development teams to proactively ensuring
regulatory compliance across the business.

Duties to include:

  • Take ownership of the business's regulatory systems by maintaining and reporting our regulatory position to our senior

  • management team.
  • To act as the primary liaison with external bodies, and as the primary regulatory contact for customers for product regulatory

  • related matters.
  • Responsible for compliance with BPR, CLP/REACH and personal protection equipment.

  • Keep our SDS library up to date including new SDS and translations.

  • Provide timely expert guidance to key stakeholders by identifying and interpreting the requirements of the regulatory

  • frameworks governing the products we sell.
  • Review changes in the regulatory frameworks and make recommendations to adapt processes, and coordinate projects to ensure

  • continued compliance.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers on regulatory issues.

  • Assist the export team with national registration to overseas regulatory frameworks.

  • Proactively drive the continuous improvement of the Regulatory team

    Must have previous experience of working in a regulatory environment.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical consumables regulations is advantageous.

  • Knowledge in BPR, REACH and personal protection equipment is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Full UK/EU driving licence

    Our current focus areas include rental of specialist work wear to cleanroom industries (pharmaceutical, medical devices,
    aerospace), and of protective workwear to manufacturing industries (engineering, automotive). The company also manufactures and
    distributes a range of cleanroom products, which it sells in the UK and exports throughout Europe and further afield, including
    Brazil, India, Australia, and Canada.

    HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (with half hour unpaid lunch break)

    SALARY RANGE: £35,000 - £40,000PA (DEPENDENT ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)

    ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Relocation package of £2,000, generous yearly bonus (profit related pay), company sick pay
