Full Job Description
Production Park is a unique support environment for the live events industry, one that unites technology, creative spaces and education.
The receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our campus. You will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors, answering phones, and providing administrative support to our team. This is a fast-paced environment where you'll wear many hats, but you'll also have the opportunity to interact with a variety of people and learn about different areas of the business.
This key support role involves taking responsibility for:
· Greeting visitors with a smile and professional demeanour.
· Managing Site Accreditation, including personnel and vehicle passes, catering and other provisions for staff, clients, students, contractors, suppliers, and more.
· Assist visitors by directing them to the appropriate person or department.
· Be the voice of the campus community by being responsible for site wide communications.
· Carry out site administrative tasks (will vary on group's needs).
· Answer, screen, and transfer phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
· Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
· Schedule appointments (will vary depending on group needs).
· Prepare meeting rooms and provide refreshments for guests (will vary depending on group needs).
· Order office supplies and keep inventory.
· Perform other clerical duties as assigned by management.
· Office Management Skills.
· Knowledge of Paxton, Sign-In, Microsoft 365, APC.
· The ability to work in a busy office environment with multiple workstreams.
· Organisational skills.
· Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to persuade, influence and advocate.
· Adaptable and resilient to meet and embrace changing circumstances and demands.
· Flexible approach to working, excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Self-motivated, ambitious and results orientated with an ability to thrive under pressure.
· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
· Strong attention to detail
· A cheerful demeanour and outgoing and engaging personality would assist in making a success of this role.
