Full Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day resourcing to ensure all quality functions and responsibilities are covered on a day-to-day basis.

  • Day-to-day supervision of team to ensure quality function and site standards are always maintained.

  • Coach and mentor team to ensure all tasks are carried out timely and to the correct standard.

  • Identify training needs within the quality team and develop a plan for upskilling team on all Quality related processes and product knowledge.

  • Maintain good working relationships with Operations, Procurement, Technical, and product management teams.

  • Report daily/weekly QC team KPI performance.

  • Populate Ent Ex master dashboard & slide deck, Quality board, and order fulfillment dashboard as required on a daily, weekly, and monthly.

  • Lead the delivery of improvement opportunities that arise from Quality team KPI reporting, using PDCA tools and techniques to deliver on these.

  • Ensure the quality team has visibility of all high-risk products and the action required.

  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure quality process alignment with customer policy.

  • Ensure all GMP audits are conducted in line with the schedule. Conducting audits alongside the team.

  • To be responsible for quality equipment control and calibration ensuring compliance with BRC and legal requirements.

  • Deputise for Quality Manager through periods of holiday and/or absence.

  • Be point of escalations for the quality team, champion the management of Internal-service-failures, Non-conformances. Drive investigation process and improvement opportunities that arise.

  • Promote Worldwide Fruits company values within the quality team.

  • Lead and promote Worldwide Fruits Food Safety culture across the site

    For all roles, candidates will be expected to demonstrate a good understanding of both verbal and written English. You will also be required to work well in a team, be flexible and have great attention to detail skills.

    This role involves working on our 2,2,3,2,2 shift pattern 6am - 6pm.
