We are seeking for a Quality Engineer who will liaise with customers, customer teams and other manufacturing team members to resolve problems and implement and improvement activities. Alongside, you will minimise quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that Brose procedures, processes and the SAP system are adhered to within the manufacturing area.,

  • Manage all quality related issues within the Manufacturing team (eg internal & customer complaints including 0KM & field claims)

  • Facilitate and lead, when necessary, problem solving activities utilising correct quality tools and techniques

  • Manage failure costs associated with concerns to minimise the financial impact on Brose

  • Ensure that customer requirements are met. Regularly review and report on customer scorecards and portals and co-ordinate actions when required

  • Plan and implement quality system, process and product for continuous improvements

  • Facilitate problem solving team reviews with plant and central functions

  • Undertake special projects / tasks as required

  • Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators

  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines

    3+ years' experience in manufacturing and quality control

  • Knowledge and application of problem-solving tools and techniques

  • Negotiating skills / Conflict resolution, Analytical and data driven

  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and knowledge of measurement methods

  • Responds quickly and efficiently to internal and customer complaints

  • Knowledge of AIAG core tools and IATF standards

  • SAP experience advantageous, IT literate, Production failure management
