Full Job Description

seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team. The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company requirements. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of product quality.Closing Date: Friday 17^th May,

  • Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and systems to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Lead and manage a team of Laboroatory technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

  • Establish quality control processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, and supply chain, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage quality-related documentation, including specifications, SOPs, and quality records.

  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform quality strategies and initiatives., Do you have a driving license and daily use of a vehicle?

    Food production, ideally chilled experience

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred.

  • HACCP & Food Safety certified to level 3 or above.

  • Internal auditor trained to level 3 or above.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or related field, and in a managerial/leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g. BRC and HACCP)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Must be within travel distance of Redruth/Scorrier, Experience in stock control and ordering.
