Full Job Description
The Access Planning Programme (APP) has partnered with industry experts to design, build and nationally implement an Access Planning System (APS) enabling essential safety improvements to Engineering Access Planning.
The outcomes sought by the programme are:
Safety
Reducing risk and improving performance by developing a successor to the Possession Planning System (PPS) and manual EAS (Engineering Access Statement) with APS a safe, more co-ordinated system
Improved efficiency of the access planning process
Advancing functionality and integration compared to PPS
Improved quality of the access plan
Structuring data so inconsistencies can be challenged and corrected
About the role (External)
What does the average day look like?
· Work as part of a project team, assisting with delivering business change project on system upgrades to time, cost and quality through various project life cycle phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
· Engage with both internal and external stakeholders collecting information to provide periodic progress reports.
· Deliver stakeholder engagement work, through drafting presentations, supporting with stakeholder mapping, communications plans and co-ordinating meetings;
· Youll provide quality project administration support through maintaining risk registers, document tracking, file management, version control and supporting the development of project reports and presentations
· Youll manage generic and task specific methods of working and supply risk assessments to agreed timescales
· Monitor and report project progress in accordance with project reporting systems and guidelines.

· Experience of working in change projects

BPSS
As an arms length department of the UK Government, Network Rail is required to comply with a well-established pre-employment vetting process for all prospective employees.
