Weaver Vale Housing Trust has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Co-Ordinator to join our Employment Support team based in Gadbrook, Northwich on a permanent basis. You will work full time and receive a highly competitive salary., The Employment Support Team delivers a number of externally funded contracts all of which have the aim of supporting people in our communities. Our goal is to help people to achieve a better quality of life, raise aspirations, overcome a variety of barriers to moving forward and in some cases, in to work. The team consists of 2 Team Leaders, 5 Mentor / Trainers and an Apprentice. The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination for the delivery of all contracts, they will have an overview of delivery and an understanding of how all the contracts work together. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate extensive organisational skills, must be able to prioritise the ever-changing demands of the programmes and be able to think on their feet.

What will you do?

You will coordinate and be responsible for all administration for the Team, supporting the smooth and efficient running of a quality advice and support service. Your role will contribute to the achievement of team targets and outcomes set by funders. You will work collaboratively with the team apprentice, supporting them to develop and allocating tasks accordingly.

Typically work will involve

Checking, collating, and uploading large quantities of paperwork relating to our projects, recording outcomes in the relevant documents / spreadsheets and CRM system.

Supporting the team with queries whilst they are out in the community, responding to their needs and offering solutions to problems presented.

Be the initial point of contact for potential and existing participants. Manage the work team inbox, responding to emails and allocating as appropriate dependant on the query. Manage the waiting list as and when required, allocating participants and booking in appointments for mentors.

Promote our services and be the first point of contact for internal and external teams who may have queries regarding participants we are working with or training we are offering. Attending online and face to face meetings with stakeholders where necessary.

Assist Team Leaders with the monitoring of budgets. This will require the management of petty cash, (recording and replenishing following Trust procedures) and ordering various items required by the Team using POP (our internal finance system).

Support the Trainers to prepare for and to deliver training sessions and plan and prepare for events we may attend in the community as well as any we may host at Gadbrook.

Support the team to update and review course materials and resources to ensure they are relevant and accurate, creating new resources and documents if required.

Responsibility for the Employment Support team mobile phone, answering calls and responding to messages.

Writing and review of processes for each project.

Supporting the Team leader with statistics and various reports required by Senior Leadership Team and supporting any applications for future funding.

Management of the team diary and booking any team meetings / events / training, producing agendas, reports and any other relevant documents required.

To oversee the safeguarding process of the team to ensure that we meet Trust standards and policies.

Monitor Solo Protect (lone working device) usage., · We may conduct social media checks from sources such as Google, Facebook and LinkedIn to assist us in our assessment of your suitability for the role.

  • Grade 4-9 / A - C (including Math's and English) or equivalent level of qualification (NVQ Level 2 in a related subject).


  • Extensive experience of providing an excellent coordination / administrative support service


  • Experience of working in a customer focused team and liaising with customers & external organisations.


  • Experience of accurately managing and monitoring data.


  • The role will require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
