Full Job Description

We have a brand new opportunity and are now looking for a Professional Indemnity Claims Adjuster to join our London based team.

In this key role you will be responsible for investigating and assessing claims filed against professional indemnity policies, as part of our claims management team you will be working closely with stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolution of claims while mitigating potential financial losses for our company.

Essential role functions include but are not limited to:

Liasing closely with other insurers where Amtrust are either a follow line or Lead insurers with a follow market.
Conducting thorough investigations into professional indemnity claims, including gathering relevant evidence, reviewing policy terms and conditions, and setting strategy for resolution and reserves.
Liaising closely with policyholders and their insurance brokers in accordance with the AmTrust brand in order to create long-standing commercial relationships.
Carrying out administration on files and keeping a well-organised and up to date portfolio of claims which are to be managed proactively and efficiently using the Claims Management System.

Successful candidates will need to have experience of or a good working knowledge of insurance principles and practices in relation to professional indemnity claims.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset that embraces creative problem-solving and innovative thinking, excellent attention to detail skills as well as knowledge of MS office, Word and Excel, willingness to take on additional responsibilities, support colleagues in the wider team and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
