Full Job Description

The Procurement System & Digitalization Demand Manager is responsible for executing system transformation & drive enhancement projects of existing tools.

What will you do :

  • Own the procurement system strategy and define short-, mid- and long-term deliverables.

  • Be the key bridge between our global procurement team and IT business partner.

  • Translate processes into system requirements and drive our system transformation towards state-of-the-art benchmark.

  • Together with the team, drive system enhancement projects while balancing effort vs. benefit.

  • Ensure system set-up meets global process demand and overall compliance.

  • Regularly engage with a global P2P manager network and the procurement team.

  • Lead global management steering meetings.

  • Attend conferences for knowledge and build strong network.

  • Prepare and lead decision proposals towards management.

    Completed studies (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in business informatics, informatics, industrial engineering or similar.

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a global procurement organization

  • Solid IT background and experience with providers / solutions (ERP, procurement suite, P2P and similar) paired with thorough understanding of sourcing processes and ability to translate into workable system requirements.

  • Preferably worked in global procurement team before, have experience in cross-functional Stakeholder Management

  • Project management skills highly beneficial.

  • Strive to drive, very structured and organized.

  • Embrace change and aim for innovation and out of the box thinking with problem-solving mindset.

  • Be highly adaptable to dynamic environment with self-starter attitude.
