We are recruiting for a Process Improvement Analyst to join our Process Improvement team in Tactical Operations!

Reporting to the Process Improvement Lead, you'll be responsible for Identifying, investigating, and developing business process improvements and recommendations for more efficient ways of working. Ensure effective and efficient analysis and support successful implementation of process improvement/ODI Improvement strategies. Working in collaboration with various operational teams is essential, utilising Lean methodologies to identify, analyse, and implement process changes.

A key part of this role is working closely with both Tactical Operations and the wider teams across Water Services, Supply, IMR, OMC partners, Asset Management and Water Recycling. Work to drive continuous improvement initiatives, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and implement process changes within Anglian Water. The role involves presenting findings and improvement suggestions to the Process Improvement Lead and relevant stakeholders, supporting, and enabling change based on rigorous improvement analysis.

You will also be able to facilitate workshops with stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, gather insights, and using the various systems to help data led decision making. Adept at conducting detailed data deep dives, pulling together event timelines, and employing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies such as Fishbone, 5 Whys, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, and DMAIC principles. Working Towards "Yellow Belt" certification, expertise in problem-solving, root cause analysis, process mapping, and risk capture, a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.

What does it take to be a Process Improvement Analyst?

  • Good Understanding of Work Area - Tactical Operations/ Key Business Areas - Water & Water Recycling.

  • Working towards LEAN "Yellow Belt" - or equivalent, strong expertise in Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Analysing Process Waste, Process Mapping, Process Analysis, Process Risk Capture.

  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to capture and explain problems and desired outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement.

  • Proven ability to develop new processes and implement change.

  • Considerable experience in a similar role.

  • Self-Motivated and can work autonomously.
