Full Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher with expertise in Physical Education, who also possesses a strong foundation in core subjects including Maths, English, Guided Reading, and Phonics. The successful candidate will work at one school based in Woolwich/Plumstead, South East London., Specialist Subject Instruction: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in either PE, ensuring adherence to curriculum guidelines and fostering a love for the subject among students.
- Core Subject Teaching: Provide high-quality instruction in core subjects, including Maths, English, Guided Reading, and Phonics, catering to the diverse needs of students.
- PPA Cover: Assume responsibility for PPA cover Monday-Friday term-time, facilitating the continued progress of students in the absence of their regular class teacher.
- General Cover: Undertake general cover duties across the school on Monday and Friday, stepping into various classrooms and subjects as needed to ensure continuity of learning.
- Extracurricular Involvement: Be involved with extracurricular activities aligned with PE, School Sport and Physical Activity.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. - Demonstrated expertise in PE, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong foundation in core subjects, enabling the delivery of high-quality instruction across various subject areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering student learning and development.
