An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Northamptonshire Council as a Planning Technician. The successful candidate will be based at our Wellingborough office, and have the opportunity to be part of a talented development team, shaping the communities of the future.
What will you be doing?

Receipt and validation of planning applications; identifying the need for and requesting further information. Maintaining planning records and constraints. Providing technical and administrative support to the Development Management team.

You will be computer literate with good oral and written communication skills. You will be organised with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will be an effective team player, but capable of working on own initiative.
