Full Job Description
- Take an active involvement in the development of the team
- Support the welfare of the team
- Facilitating groups and delivering training
- Monitor training records and ensure they are up to date
- Issue items of uniform and other kit to new team
- Support the recruitment and retention of the team
- Conduct return to work meetings
- Ensure that the leaver process is completed
- Attend and support the planning of team events
- Facilitate team communication using social media, team handbook and team notice boards
- Provide support to the wider People Team and HR processes.
Do you enjoy engaging with people on all levels? - Previous people management or support experience
- Previous L&D experience (in the leisure/tourism sector would be advantageous)
- Strong administrator experience
- Some HR experience, it is not essential but would be preferable.
- Commitment to delivering excellent service
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office,
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Communication skills and a flexible, 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work on initiative and be a team player
This role is 40 hours per week over 5 days. Mainly worked Monday-Saturday (including bank holidays) but you may be required to be flexible to work the occasional evening for some training needs. We are open to being flexible for the right candidate, but this role is not suitable for hybrid working.
We are looking for a 'People' person who is an organised and approachable individual; passionate about delivering exceptional service to our team and adding value with every interaction.
You'll enjoy working as part of a team and be confident in delivering training support programmes. You will also be confident speaking to people on the phone and in person, participating in video calls as required.,
