Order Picker & Countback Operatives

We are looking for 5 people to join our warehouse picking team over the summer. The successful candidates will work in either our Cutlery, Crockery and Glassware department or our heavy kit department.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurately counting or scanning hire equipment back from clients and highlighting to the Warehouse Manager any damages or losses


• Storing hire equipment safely and in the correct location within the Warehouse


• Picking clients orders correctly and loading them onto our vehicles


• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy


• Supporting other departments with the cleaning of our hire equipment when required


• The role requires individuals to use manual handling aids to complete the workload which is of a physical nature. You'll sometimes be working alone or as part of a team with colleagues.
  
  Jongor Hire have been supplying the event and hospitality industry with catering equipment for over 40 years, so it's fair to say we know what we're doing! Our catering equipment is thoroughly cleaned and tested before every hire and our tableware is perfectly hand polished, ready to lay up at an event.
  
  During June and July all staff are required to work additional hours, usually Monday to Saturday 7.30am - 6pm


• Hours worked over 40 is paid at x 1.25


• Weekend working and bank holiday working is paid at x 1.5
