Motor Vehicle Technician

Due to our operational growth we are looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician to deal with all aspects of car mechanics and new vehicle technology.

Our Service and Maintenance Technicians are expected to undertake the following duties therefore depending on your level of experience your package will be reviewed in line with your skillset:

• The Ability to undertake servicing & repairs on current models


• Be able to replace fast fit items


• Interpret and complete department paperwork, including Service check sheets, healthchecks, and PDI sheets


• Operate our VHC system


• Undertake Road tests


• Ability to carry out basic electrical repairs


• Ability to carry out in depth mechanical repairs


• Have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment


• Basic understanding of the manufacturer's warranty system


• Willingness to attend training courses and achieve acceptable pass in post-test exams


• Ability to use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to rectify basic concerns
  
  Are you self-motivated with a passion for the motor industry?, In order to be successful, you must hold:


• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Minimum


• Recent experience within workshop environment


• A full UK Driving Licence


• Own set of tools
