Matron - Band 8a

The Matron will provide advice and leadership for the delivery and implementation of the revised physical health pathway and increase the skills and knowledge of the Multidisciplinary Team workforce in LDA services, in relation to physical health. The post holder will lead the development of physical health nursing practice to enable continuous quality improvement in service provision and support inter-professional practice development, to meet service user needs. The post holder will provide clinical and managerial supervision for direct line managed staff and drive continuous improvement approaches and high standards of clinical care, across the Learning Disability and Autism Directorate, to sustain standards of care, including the assurance that Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards are met and exceeded. The post holder will provide visible leadership and be available to staff across LDA services and for their patients / carers and be responsive to their experience of care
