Materials Handler / Grinding Room

Temp to Perm Materials Handler/Grinding Room required for employment in a Global based manufacturing company in Kenfig Industrial Estate near Port Talbot

Initial £11.63ph wage rate applies to all candidates (£25,460)

Own transport is required as site is not near any major transport links.

Average 42.1 hrs pw. Work on a rotational day/night basis 4 on and 4 off 12 hrs shifts

Working in a manufacturing enviroment with rotational shifts would be advantages but not essential.,

• To support the Production Department when required and with the continual development and improvement of the facilities and services available to the business.


• To organize and safely recycle scrap products through the hand and roll feed granulators.


Key Duties

• Support production teams when required.


• To perform machine clean downs and carry out cleaning schedules and stop checks when required.


• To organize, separate, and granulate scrap cups products into specified categories.


• To clearly identify all granulated material by grade and weight


• To ensure that material is protected from the weather if stored outside pending use or shipping.


• To maintain an accurate record of all granulated materials and mixed materials.


• To complete high level cleaning when required


• To continue with Operation Clean Sweep


• Emptying of production bins and maintenance of waste compactor


• Ad Hoc duties within production - this list is not exhaustive
  
  Must have the right to work in the uk.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not required


• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
