  • An opportunity to help shape and support agencies marketing strategies

NFU Mutual is seeking an experienced Marketing individual to fulfil our brand-new agency Marketing Relationship Manager role, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies and plans of our agencies.


  • In this role you will act as a Marketing Subject Matter Expert and work with key stakeholders across our Sales and Agency and Customer Service Division, to support a group of specially identified agencies to develop and evolve their marketing strategies and plans to meet their local business goals, drive value and support growth ambitions and persistency rates. You will develop strong working relationships with the Agents and their teams, spending on average one day per week on visits to gain commitment and provide hands on support to help the agencies craft and deliver and their local marketing plans. You'll help the agencies to develop marketing budgets which align to their plans to maximise return on marketing investment and reduce risk.

    You will champion a data-driven approach to marketing plan reviews, offering strategic recommendations to amplify alignment with NFU Mutual's overarching goals and maximize the agencies ROI. You will bridge the gap between agencies and our Marketing and Digital Division, collaborating with teams such as Marketing Campaigns and social media to drive best practice and ensure alignment, serving as the vital conduit between agencies and senior stakeholders across NFU Mutual, informing them on key themes and challenges identified in order that solutions can be found to help drive NFU Mutual's and our agencies growth.

    You have proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of the full marketing mix. You have experience of working with a brand which delivers its services through a local network and strong customer focus. You can build effective and trusted working relationships with senior business stakeholders and are a strong influencer with proven effective communication skills.
