Full Job Description

Working closely with the Patient Liaison and Communications Lead, you will develop Beacon Medical Groups digital and social media ensuring that our website and other social media platforms are dynamically updated. You will assist with organising digital health campaigns, collaborating with relevant members of our teams such as GPs, nurses or our Social Prescribing Team to highlight the services that can be provided using the Groups website, Facebook and Twitter pages and by other digital means. You will design creative professional marketing campaigns to engage all stakeholders and develop our digital platforms so that our patients, visitors and colleagues have a variety of methods to contact the Group. Key Responsibilities: To update the Practice website to be in line with national strategies Report monthly on website analytics Updating and removing website content with approval Co-ordinating Comms and campaigns online and notice boards To ensure all Group communications are in line with
relevant NHS content guidance and accessibility standards.

To undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required Working in conjunction with the Patient Liaison and Communications Lead to monitor and review annually the Groups communication strategy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Must be able to work flexible hours. To be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate Website Maintenance: To maintain and update the Practices website, in conjunction with the Patient Liaison and Communications Lead in line with National strategies. Involvement in the design, build and continual improvement of the Group website collaborating with senior team members and Patient Liaison and Communications Lead where necessary. To Maintain a library of website content.

Keep up to date with digital and social media trends, collaborating with the Patient Liaison and Communications Lead and other senior members of the team (where necessary) to influence our methods and approach. Communications: To respond to online reviews and responses across all of our platforms such as our social media and NHS Choices and feedback. Design and create Beacon Medical Group content, across all of our platforms such as social media, on site notice boards, surveys and engaging with patients in the Group waiting rooms. You will also be involved in the Groups marketing and corporate communications to ensure that our patients and colleagues are well informed.

Part of this role will involve engagement and feedback to senior members of the team and regular attendance at meetings to represent the Communications Teams. Launch online campaigns through Group website, Facebook, and Twitter to increase Beacon Medical Group brand awareness and collaborate where necessary with relevant colleagues in the promotion of these. Provide feedback to contribute to the planning of strategies to build strong connections with Beacon Medical Groups patients and community. Recognise peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly.

Keep information on third party websites up to date such as NHS choices. Support the design and creation of patient newsletters. Support with community engagement events. Health and Safety Ensure all members of staff comply with the Groups health and safety policy.

Carry out risk assessments to comply with current Health and Safety legislation. Ensure any health and safety concerns are reported to the Operations Manager. To be aware of and adhere to applicable practice rules, regulations, legislation and procedures, national legislation (Health and Safety, COSHH, Data Protection). Governance: Identify and record risks and issues, developing contingency plans with service and contract leads. Ensure the PCN is compliant with health and safety policies and procedures to reflect current best practice. Ensure that the PCN board and Clinical director adhere to the governance structure as set out in the network agreement. Confidentiality: To maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the practice.
