Full Job Description
Our client in Bury is looking to recruit a Machine Operative for work based out of their manufacturing and distribution site
The role will involve:
- Machine Operating, setting, and programming
- Use of Tooling and other industrial equipment
- Working from drawings & diagrams for product specifications
- Manual lifting & moving off finished products
Previous Experience operating Machines essential, experience setting and altering preferred also - Experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read drawings and work from designs with good attention to detail, Plastic Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Machine Operating: 2 years (required)
- Machine Setting & Adjusting: 1 year (required)
- Working from drawings/designs: 1 year (required)
06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 weekly rotation - Monday to Friday
- Initially £11.94 p/h increasing to £12.44 p/h once trained on Machines
- Further pay increases available
- 40 hours per week paid
