Lettings Negotiator

Due to the continued growth within our expanding business, we are looking for an individual to help assist in the day to day running of our rental department

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

Assisting our busy rentals team with the day to day managing of our rental portfolio.

Carrying out property inspections. Making sure that tenants are taking care of the properties and taking notes of any maintenance issues that need attention.

Dealing with any maintenance required on properties. Liaising with our contractors and tenants to arrange quotes and booking in of necessary works. Arranging annual gas safety checks and electrical checks.

Arranging and undertaking viewings of properties with potential tenants, whilst ensuring you are confident with your knowledge and the information relating to the property, answering any questions.

Following up on viewings with potential tenants by telephone to establish their interest or their feedback and whether the property they viewed fits their needs and if they would like to request to be considered for an application.

Discussing with landlords potential interested tenants and ordering references with reference department.

Saturday cover is required on a fortnightly rota with a lieu day given the following week

Assist colleagues with any telephone calls and administration.

Applicants will need to have a smart appearance and an excellent telephone manner; experience in estate agency will be a distinct advantage. Applicants must be computer literate and have excellent written and verbal communication, with full training being given on all our IT software. Applicants for this role must also be a car owner/driver with a clean driving licence.
