Full Job Description

To provide full administrative support to your allocated team/project, supporting your delivery team to run smoothly and efficiently, whilst working closely with the rest of the Admin Team to ensure consistency across the project.

What will you be doing?

  • Organising and coordinating project meetings and events (including welcome meetings, leadership meetings, team leader meetings, CFK club meetings).

  • Adding and removing new volunteers from mailing and distribution lists.

  • Sending out project communications, including monthly newsletters, emails, announcements, etc.

  • Supporting other teams with admin duties as needed (and where time allows).

  • Attending monthly admin team meetings and other meetings as required, sharing ideas, and ways to improve admin support across the project.

  • Note-taking, taking registers and any other administrative support required.

  • Office and Administration Management

  • Project / programme management, Strong experience working as an administrator or PA.

  • Confidence and competence working with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

  • The ability to contribute 3-4 hours (on average) per week voluntarily - these can be during the daytime, evening, weekdays or weekends.

  • A visible interest and passion for nutrition and improving the health and well-being of children.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail to support proofreading.

  • Fluency in English is essential.

  • Excellent organisation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine team player.

  • Whilst we ask volunteers to commit to taking roles for a duration of the project which is expected to last 2+ years, the monthly and weekly time commitment to this role, and its responsibilities, is flexible and needs to suit the volunteer. However, we ask for a minimum of 1-2 hours per week (on average), which some weeks may be more and some less.
