IT Senior QA Tester (Mobile)

IT SENIOR QA TESTER (MOBILE) - hybrid role with both office-based and homeworking. This role will also be required to work out of normal working hours on occasion.

Circa £32,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT QA test team as IT Senior QA Tester (Mobile).

This role will work within the Mobile App delivery team with the support and guidance of the Center Parcs and 3rd Party Test teams.

The role will focus on the testing of the new Center Parcs mobile app (IOS and Android), ensuring alignment to business requirements and adherence to quality standards.

The role will incorporate a wide range of activities/responsibilities, such as issue identification and resolution, requirements analysis, test design, test automation and the creation/maintenance of test artifacts (such as test cases, bug documentation and test exit reports). Testing will cover a wide range of areas including functionality, performance, user experience and security.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail. They will also have the capability to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required along the with ability to work collaboratively as part of a mixed-discipline team.,

• Firm understanding of mobile app testing methodologies and/or development concepts


• Basic understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium and Maestro


• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies


• Previous experience or aspirations to lead testing on a high-profile project


• ISTQB Foundation (or higher) in Software Testing


• Leadership qualities


Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience working with 3^rd Party delivery teams


• Strong bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field
