Full Job Description

As an Inventory & Material Accountant you will have the opportunity to build strong working relationships with financial and non-financial stakeholders in order to drive targeted, data driven improvements into the business. You will gain experience working across a multi-site global environment and have opportunities for career and personal development. Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to adapt your presentation style to suit the needs of the audience.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Inventory and Material cost for Aftermarket Business

  • Complete & analyse variances within Inventory & Material Cost to present to senior leaders

  • Support business in improving understanding of monthly results and work collaboratively on improving processes/results

  • Drive continuous improvement, whilst maintaining a strong controls environment

  • Support short-, medium- and long-term strategic initiatives around data analysis and standardization, Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting. #LI-Hybrid

    Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
    Level Working Knowledge:

    Top candidates will Demonstrated working knowledge of:
  • Working toward or completed Professional Certification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Experience of data analytics and visualisation tools such as MS PowerBI, MS PowerApps, or Alteryx to improve current processes.

  • Experience of accounting within a manufacturing environment and/or global matrix organisations.

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office
