Full Job Description

As our HR Advisor, you will act as the administrator for all end-to-end life cycle of transactional HR recruitment and onboarding, service awards, payroll requirements, staff development, PMR enquiries, vacancy management and advising on general policy queries.

Responsibilities of our HR Advisor:

  • Providing prompt administrative service support to the HR services team and across the business

  • Responding to and managing daily queries both internal and external

  • Managing absence-related documents and system updates in line with statutory requirements

  • Advising on staff development queries, PMR user enquiries ensuring database changes required are actioned promptly

  • Completing administrative tasks to ensure the end-to-end transactional life cycle is effective and responsive

  • Managing the permission to recruit authorisation process via the Exec team, liaising with recruiting managers

  • Being fully compliant with all safeguarding responsibilities within the KCSIE requirements, escalating any complex issues to the HR Business Partner

  • Providing a prompt response for managers relating to agency requirement cover

  • Leading on service awards, together with providing certificates and awards as chosen by Exec

    Level 2 English & Maths

  • Customer Service or Business Admin Qualification or equivalent is desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources (or willing to work towards)

  • Recent and relevant experience of working in an office/administration environment

  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office

  • Accuracy and keen attention to detail

  • Effective problem-solving techniques

  • The ability to use own initiative and know when to seek advice
