HGV Class 2 Driver

Resilient Recruitment are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our well established scaffolding client based in St. Helens. As a class 2 driver you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in the organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products., Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to optimize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery updates or delays
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers and customers
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Skills:
- Delivery driver experience
- Commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with St Helens roads and traffic patterns
- Ability to drive various types of trucks, including flatbeds.

-Physically fit and able to get involved when needed.
