HGV ADR Class 2 Driver - Days

We are looking to recruit a friendly upbeat positive driver with a can-do attitude.

Candidates for this position must have:

• Must have at least a class 2 licence


• Must have in date ADR Licence


• Multi drop experience


• Excellent organisational, communication and basic computer skills along with a good standard of English Language and Maths.


• The ability to work well as part of a small team as well as on your own initiative.


• Flexibility - the nature of our business means that overtime is sometimes necessary.


• A full, clean driving licence


• A valid driver qualification card (CPC)


The below would also be desirable, although not essential.

· A good geographical knowledge of the South Coast.

· Forklift qualifications for counterbalance and/or reach trucks.

What to expect on a daily basis:

· Multi drop deliveries in a class 2 vehicle

· Deliveries will be across the South Coast, sometimes having the odd longer trip.

· Loading and unloading yourself via fork-lift (if you have a in date licence),
• HGV Driving: 1 year (required)

  At 2mv Logistics Ltd we are a family run transport distribution company based in Portsmouth and due to growth we are recruiting for ADR HGV Class 2 Multi-drop driver to join our friendly team. We are part of two pallet networks, including Hazchem.
  
  Most of the time this driver will be delivering to the Isle of Wight, on quieter days you could be delivering anywhere on the south coast or even London. When doing Isle of Wight deliveries we sometimes require the driver to start early, normally between 3-6am. If you start before 5am you will be paid an extra £15 for the early start. If you are not doing the Isle of Wight start times would be between 6-8am depending on the location., · Family Run Company that like to treat their staff like their own.

Class 2 ADR trained £13 an hour basic

We also currently have an achievable KPI performance bonus in place which is an extra £30 a week if achieved, plus another £10 a week if you also have an in date counter balance fork lift licence.

With both those together that makes £13.80 an hour. Overtime after 50 hours.

Plus early start payment of £15 a day for starting before 5am (when required)

Yearly wage works out between £33,800 - £38,040 excluding overtime or Saturday pay.

Drivers are paid their lunch break.

This role has a shift of 10 hours a day Monday- Friday (50 hours a week including paid lunch), with an occasional Saturday (on a rota basis).

The standard shift could start between 3am - 8am although allow for some changes - notice would be given.
