Full Job Description

Throughout the night, you will make close observations, providing personal care, moving, and handling and attending to his clinical care requirements when required.

You will ensure his safety and provide a peaceful environment promoting a restful nights sleep., The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a male in his late teens, who lives with his family in a rural location close to Skegness and requires support with his complex care needs throughout the night on a 1 : 1 basis.

He is none-verbal and communities via facial expressions, it is important you become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and wants are met.

Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

Due to the location of where he lives it would be preferred if you do drive and have access to a vehicle as its a rural area., Essential

  • 3 months previous care experience

  • Personal Care

  • Moving and Handling

  • Medication Administration


  • Desirable
  • PEG Feeding

  • Tracheostomy Care

  • Oxygen management

  • Seizure management

    We specialise in the provision of highly complex clinical care services delivered in the homes of service users.

    During the day he attends school and has a great support network of family and friends, who visit him regularly. He has a good sense of humour and enjoys the interaction with those around him.

  • We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time and Part Time Nights Available

  • 2-4 Shifts Per Week

  • 8 : 00pm 7 : 00am

    Weeknights : £ per hour (£154 approx. per 11-hour shift)

    Weekends : £ per hour (£165 approx. per 11-hour shift)

    Bank Holiday : £ per hour (£ approx. per 11-hour shift)
