Health Care Assistant / Support Worker

We are looking to recruit staff to care and support residents with all aspects of daily living including community engagement, activities both externally and within the service and working towards independence. The great thing about working within a complex care environment, is that two days will never be entirely the same. The right candidate must be organised in ascertaining the client's needs promoting independence and choice.

All candidates will have to provide emotional and personal support to all our varied residents. This will also include all aspects of personal care, including bathing, toileting and getting people up and dressed. We would like staff who are positive, fun, outgoing, caring, person centred and passionate about providing quality care and support. You will take our residents to appointments, theatre trips, community groups, discos and a variety of other activities.

You will adhere to all relevant policies and procedures and be a part of the efficient running of the home, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for our residents and your colleagues.,

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Work flexible hours, including weekends as per the rota.


• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.


• Be able to keep calm in challenging situations.


• Be computer literate and competent at writing care notes


Candidate Must Have


• Right to live and work in the UK


• 2 x Positive References


• DBS Check


• A driving licence would be an advantage

• Extra hourly rates paid for weekends with £0.50 Sat / £0.75 Sun.
