Full Job Description

The Head of SEO role is pivotal within CAVU's E-commerce team, reporting directly to the E-commerce Director. Operating within the CAVU workstream, the Head of SEO oversees the team driving organic growth and optimising online presence for both B2C brands and client airports., Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide visionary leadership in developing and executing high-impact SEO strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring CAVU's B2C brands and client's online presence are optimised for organic growth.

  • Lead and inspire a team of 9 SEO specialists, fostering collaboration and overseeing on and off-page optimisation initiatives to enhance search engine visibility and performance.

  • Stay abreast of search engine algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure CAVU remains competitive in search engine rankings.

  • Drive initiatives to optimize website architecture, content quality, and user experience, enhancing search engine visibility and overall website performance.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of key performance metrics, regularly reporting performance trends and insights to stakeholders, and utilising data-driven insights to refine and optimise SEO performance.

  • Collaborate with CAVU's content team, developers, and other Heads of Marketing to integrate SEO best practices into overall marketing strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments.

    To excel, candidates must exhibit a blend of leadership, strategic vision, and technical proficiency in SEO best practices, alongside MAG's core behaviours of integrity, innovation, customer focus, and teamwork., Proven track record in leading and managing SEO teams to deliver strategic goals.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and future trends.

  • Commercial success in improving organic search rankings and driving measurable organic growth.

  • Experience of managing other performance channels (at least 2 of: GDN, Paid Social, Programmatic Display, VOD).

  • analytical, inquisitive and target driven with the proven ability to deliver revenue in line with expectations of conversion paths (particularly long paths to conversion) and how they work as part of a performance strategy.

  • Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills.
