Full Job Description

As a Global Brand Lead on our Global Makeup Category, you will proactively drive the agenda of your category with all stakeholders and give support to the Senior Brand Lead/Director on the total category strategy, beyond your direct brand responsibility.

You will be closely working with the Local commercial markets, along with Global creative teams, business analytics, IMI and the innovation team, where you are responsible that the brand strategy is sharp and clear to all stakeholders.

This is a dynamic and varied role; bringing together elements of brand and campaign strategy, campaign activation and identifying new / additional opportunities to drive the brand., As a Brand Lead on our Global Makeup Category, you will proactively drive the agenda of your category with all stakeholders and give support to the Senior Brand Lead/Director on the total category strategy, beyond your direct brand responsibility.

Brand Strategy

Develop 3yr Brand Strategy for Brands: 3yr Vision, Key SOV, Brand Role, Brand Architecture, Gaps & Opportunities, Price Positioning and Drivers of 3yr Growth

Brand Plan

Work closely with Innovation Team partners to ensure delivery of Brand vision & growth strategy.

Brand Architecture & Portfolio management

Grow Brand awareness, image, engagement and purchase intent with compelling, distinctive and aspirational storytelling/content

Drive Digital Transformation

Brand Implementation & Execution

Delivery of impactful toolkits and activation plans to drive the category

Reporting and Management of Brand performance against KPI's; revenue, units, margin, ARS, NPU, Penetration, Market Share

Govern Brand execution

Build relationships w/Commercial marketing to influence Brand investment & growth

Provide Brand updates during key Business Meetings

Brand Community & Culture

Share best practice and learnings to create Winning Brands and Brand Strategy's

Support a new way of working; collaboratively working with cross-functional Teams

LNPD - Brand guardianship and approval of execution (inc pack and comms)

  • Further education qualification preferred

  • Potential for Professional Qualifications - Postgrad CIM or similar, or in Makeup artistry / application

  • 3+ years Marketing experience, preferably Globally / internationally with an experience working cross-culturally

  • Fluency in English

  • Brand strategy experience or experience of contributing to category strategy

  • Experience in creative development, concept planning, creative communication / activation, brief writing. Partnerships and collaborations would also be a bonus

  • Innovation and portfolio management experience: defining cadence, portfolio architecture and activation plans (innovation and brand events)

  • Analytical capability to define key insights, understand and manage key business KPI's / performance indicators and evaluate ideas and interventions

  • Brand Building Expertise: delivering fully rounded activation plans to hit KPIs

  • Superior presentation and analytical skills (competent storytelling + financial analytics)

  • A passion for social media, the makeup category and trends (beauty, social, makeup) would be strongly preferable given the nature & focus of this role
