Full Job Description

  • To work flexibly between front of house and the kitchen where required.

  • To advise the management of any problems encountered during a shift.

  • To work with the team to ensure the venue is safe, presentable, welcoming and secure at all times.

  • To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures and policies are followed at all times.

  • Reports accidents/incidents, in accordance with Nooch Ltd procedures.

  • To support the kitchen by any means necessary - you will be required to ensure tables are cleared and cooking equipment and serving equipment is washed throughout the shift, and you may also be required to seat tables, take orders, speak to customers about the menu and run food and drink to tables.

We are looking for team members with experience of working front of house in a busy hospitality environment, who can work efficiently under pressure whilst expressing our passion for plant-based food to our customers., Experience in a hospitality role desirable as this team member will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment both in the restaurant and the kitchen. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to work to a flexible schedule of part time hours. Evening and weekend work will be required, however, we pride ourselves on being dedicated to fairness and staff wellbeing in the workplace, therefore longer shifts and antisocial hours will be limited wherever possible., Essential:

  • Willingness to complete required training and probationary period for role.

  • Experience of, and commitment to, providing high levels of customer experience with a passionate approach to our ethos. Knowledge of locally sourced/seasonal produce is beneficial but not essential as we will tell you all you need to know about dishes and ingredients.

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and feedback to senior members of the team.

  • Able to take responsibility for areas within the role, prioritising and multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to various circumstances.

  • Ability to engage confidently and pleasantly with a wide range of people, particularly when delivering the ethos of the restaurant to customers and potential clients or partners.

  • Excellent oragnisation skills and willingness to follow procedures as directed by senior staff every shift.

  • A problem solver who is able to work effectively without supervision.

  • Confidence in confiding with senior team and ask questions where necessary.

  • An honest and responsible individual with a calm, patient and efficient manner.

  • Knowledgeable interest in and empathy for the plant-based lifestyle.

  • Strong communications and IT skills, in particular using restaurant POS systems (training provided).


  • Desirable:
  • Food Hygiene Certificate, Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • Pay: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

    Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
