Full Job Description
- Willing to learn local geographical knowledge
- Deliver curb-side pallet goods, anything from 10-14 drops per day.
- Collection of hub collection pallets, back to the depot.
- Professionally interact with customers always.
- Complete daily maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues
- Administration ability to manage and maintain delivery and collection paperwork.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Ideally, at least one 1-year multidrop experience required - Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
- Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures
- Work well independently using initiative and common sense
- Open and transparent communication verbal and written
- Familiarity with GPS devices / able to read a map, Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
Due to on-going business expansion ILS Ltd, based in Heathfield East Sussex, are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Van driver to join our team delivering and collecting for the biggest European pallet network, Palletways.
Pay, benefits and more: We are offering a salary of £30,000 per annum depending on experience, including performance bonus, 4 weeks paid holiday plus 8 days bank holidays. We also offer a company pension plan We welcome and encourage candidates to spend a day put with one of our experienced drivers to see what the job entails- we will pay you for your attendance The role is full time, primarily Monday to Friday and is a permanent position with a shift time of approximately 10hrs per day, although this depends on the needs of the business. We also require you to work one Saturday in every four - Day shift
