Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring their proper maintenance, and optimizing their utilization to meet the company's transportation needs. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all fleet assets, including vehicle information, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage the procurement process for new vehicles, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and overseeing vehicle inspections
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to fleet operations, including driver safety guidelines and vehicle usage policies
- Monitor driver performance, conduct driver training programs, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Analyze data on vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology

Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fleet management principles, including vehicle maintenance, procurement, and compliance
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Proficient in using fleet management software systems
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing fleet operations
